I should not be surprised by the response to my question a couple of days ago. Most respondents prefer to watch a golf Major from the comfort of their own home. I cannot say I blame them because I would fall in the same category. However, it is unfair for me to actually make that call since I have never experienced being at any professional golf tournament live. But, I guess I can only imagine that being home offers a better opportunity to see all the action.

Having a spare set of clubs around is important for guests who happen to drop by and want to tee it up. I have several sets, including one for a lefty. Of course none are the quality of my Titleist AP2s, but they will do in a pinch and are far better than any rentals. About two weeks ago, my wife saw the set I purchased in a virtual garage sale and pointed them out to me and without hesitation, we snapped them up! Continue reading →

I have discussed moving day at other golf tournaments and from my many musings you know I believe moving day is important. At the Canadian Open, the third longest running national golf event in the world, things are no different. Glen Abbey is a great golf course and offers many risk/reward moments that can are important on moving day. Rick and Steve at the CareerBuilder Challenge

The CareerBuilder Challenge is over and unfortunately Adam Hadwin came up 1 stroke short for his first win on the PGA Tour. As a Canadian, I was rooting for my country man to pull out all the stops and capitalize on his 59 during the third round.
